From the very beginning, we have been focused on driving positive change and impact on the communities in which we operate. Partnering with local businesses and community groups, we offer:
- Local employment and economic support to regional communities facing financial hardship
- Funding for local community recreational infrastructure and volunteer groups
- Partnerships with local schools and training authorities to develop maintenance and technology upskilling programs for technicians, network specialists and other operational roles
- Support for community sustainability programs that seek to build or enhance community sustainability, such as those using renewable energy, recycling or community gardens
- Funding for programs promoting diversity, inclusion and community safety
- Grants for programs and organizations promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

Each year our team hand-selects programs within each region, based on their purpose, community contribution, social value, and overall level of impact.
In September, up to $100,000 is awarded to selected programs as part of our social impact commitment - supporting those in the community who are creating lasting, meaningful change.
